BORIDE, FAN-6AP, TUNGSTEN CARBIDE, 3/8" BORE #6 FAN NOZZLE, WITH POLYURETHANE JACKET, 1-1/4" NPSM THREAD Is Excellent For Medium Cleaning & Stripping Applications Where An Even Dispersion Of The Abrasive Throughout The Wide Uniform Blast Pattern Is Required. This Is Achieved By Having A Rectangular Slit Orifice. This Eliminates The Hot Spot You Find In Most Other Center Bore Nozzles. Kennametal's Boride Division Designs These Nozzles To Be Acceptable For Use With Most Types Of Abrasives & To Be Used Preferably With 1" ID x 1-7/8" OD Blast Hose. These Nozzles Only Come With A 3/8″ Orifice Opening, But Are Acceptable For Use With Most Types Of Abrasives, And Is Commonly Used With Corn Cob Or Walnut Shell. Use Nozzle Washer 100-8690 As A Replacement. Preferably Used With HE-2-AL (Aluminum), HE-2-BR (Brass), Or HE-2-NY (Nylon) Nozzle Holders With 1-1/4" NPSM Thread When 1" ID Blast Hose Is In Use.
